Majority of Americans think it’s government responsibility to make sure everyone has a job ping to Today show list.
I’d like to know who Fox News is polling. All their poll results are goofier than sh**.

Its the Governments responsibility to stay the Hell out of the way, and let the Economy function like it has Historically, WITHOUT gross Govt. intervention and Co-ordination.
Govt. does employ....Govt. does provide....but its not the ONLY provider of jobs.

Well, in NZ, you “own” your job. It means if the employer fires you because you are a terrible employee... the employer still has to negotiate with you to pay you off... wonder how long it will take for THAT idea to pop up in Washington...
one of the Obamatrons told me the main reason she voted for Obama was to get her a job. Not just any job either. Where was the job going to come from I asked, and she said he would bring back the jobs from overseas.

That’s OK - follow the evolving Madoff scandal and watch as “victims” of his financial fraud come around the corner to actually suggesting that the taxpayer needs to make them whole. They ares starting to do so already. Beyond the fact that assertion of general taxpayer liability is dubious - it turns out he never traded in securities (at least not since 1993) on their behalf. So even SIPC compensation may be out of reach. Expect these folks to analogize to the WTC/Pentagon and Flight 93 victims compensation programs. Absurd, yes. But it’s coming.
People seem to think that the realm of personal responsibility has shrunk to nanometer dimensions.
Until we (maybe) elect Opposition With Spine (this is *not* at all synonymous with "Republican," as recent history proves) in 2010.

What is also depressing is how uninformed most people are, which makes them particularly susceptible to the BS coming from the MSM that the uninformed watch in bits and pieces.
I have gradually come out of my self-imposed cave that I stayed in after the election, and as i speak with various people about current events and politics, i am stuned at the level of ignorance by those who arent political junkies or who at least keep abreast of real facts and issues.
There is SO much ignorance out there it’s frightening, but not surprising that the country has been moved in this direction. Dunces and sheeple.
I’m sitting here about to rail against this 51%.
But then I paused. You know what? If government is going to claim such a BIG GODDAM CHUNK OF MY PAYCHECK, THEN WHY SHOULDN’T I DEMAND THAT THE ASSHOLE RUNNING THIS SHITTY COUNTRY MAKE SURE I CAN PAY THAT CHUNK??

Your right! The type of job the gov. will provide will not suffice to the grade level that 50% of the people would want to work in. That’s Bull$hit!
