Anyone up for a California Porkulus Tea Party? I suggest we get together and dump our Obama Porkulus Tea ™ into one or more of our California harbors? San Francisco? Oakland? Sacramento? Stockton? Ventura? Long Beach? San Diego?
How about it folks?
Like Rick Santelli, we're madder than hell and we're not going to take it any longer!!
Down with tyranny!!
Long live Liberty!!
I really want to do something! YES.
If we did it in L.A. Harbor would any of the radio hosts get involved, I wonder??
Turn this growing groundswell of resistance into a tidal wave and I guarantee you they’ll cover it.
BTTT
Can we schedule several throughout the state? We’re in N. Ca, and can’t travel to LA area. I’m thinking there would be a lot in the LA area that couldn’t travel up here.
I also like the idea of meeting in Sacramento at the Capitol and walking over to the Sacramento River and disposing of tea (or a copy of the “stimulus” bill).
Yes, Long Beach sounds good. We can tell friend and loved ones I know that they would like to join in.
Best post ever
Yes! Please organize throughout our great state and all across the land!
Amen brother!
I am afraid the days are coming quicker than I thought where we will have to stand on our ROCK and suffer the consequences for it.
What about NEW YORK CITY?
I live in Manhattan, but I feel like I’m in Skokie.
I can’t find any mention of a NEW YORK tea party...
It looks like there are a bunch of events scheduled on Facebook. It seems like the common date is July 4,2009.
I think that seems a little late. I personally would like to see something sooner, but maybe we need time to organize.
I wish we could get several different conservative groups (heritage foundation) and talk show hosts (Limbaugh & Hannity) to agree on a date and start publicizing it.
We could all get on facebook and twitter, etc to advertise the events.
Sacramento would be a great place to register our displeasure with King Hussein the Obamassiah:

I think Sacramento is the perfect place in California because we also need to add on Arnold and the democrats of this state for their “budget”.
I keep on thinking of the war memorial that is in the park surrounding the Capitol. How appropriate to meet at the war memorial and then march to the river and dump (whatever) into it.
Enough is enough! How could we have let this happen to our country? I’m still so disappointed that the republicans nominated McCain, and then we couldn’t win against Obama. Look what Obama is doing to our country in only 1 month. What are the next 4 years going to look like!!
Governorson and I vote for SF...
It would be grate to have them up and down the state, coastal and large river ports.
LOL
"Of all tyrannies, a tyranny exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It may be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end, for they do so with the approval of their own conscience."—C. S. Lewis
Liberty: The right to do whatever does not violate the rights of others.
I vote aye! Can we get the Santa Rosa, San Jose, San Francisco, Bezerkeley, Samoa, Bodega Bay, Leggett and Usal chapters involved? How about MAF? When do we do it?
Maybe we should all dress up as "Native Americans"(pc sic) or tree huggers or hippies. That way we might get some media coverage.
Nice march from the State Capitol to the Sacramento River???
This idea is especially applicable to California. However, it had better be soon, for as time drags on people will grumble and then go about their daily activities. KFI here in Los Angeles has posted the Addresses of all elected officials and advocates sending them used tea bags.
