The point is that in the 21st century we can't have a civil war. But we can use 21st century technology to our advantage. The written word has more power now than ever before. Think about it: Right now, you're reading the ramblings of a schmuck like me. Would that have been possible 20 years ago? In 1775, it took months for the "shot heard 'round the world" to be heard. In 2009, it takes microseconds for the likes of me to send my message worldwide. I'm a gun owner, and the second amendment reaffirms my right to bear arms, and all the power therein. I'm also a computer owner, and the first amendment reaffirms my right to free speech, and all that power therein. Right now, my Compaq laptop is a much more effective weapon than my Colt M1911A1.
The Dems will care if we overwhelm them with a barrage of facts. I am confident that we can go very far on the first amendment. If not, we then still have the second amendment to fall back on.
The Dems won't be able to recognize real facts if it bit them on the nose, and they don't give a GD about the 2nd Amendment or any other part of the Constitution. The people that we need to reach first are the ones who did not vote for Obama.
