This might rile up some of the folks. It’s going to get ugly pretty quick.
NO! Not as long as I draw breath.
ACORN is targeting the following cities:
Tucson, Ariz.; Oakland, Calif.; Los Angeles, Calif.; Contra Costa County, Calif.; Orlando, Fla.; Baltimore, Md.; New York, N.Y.; Houston, Texas; San Mateo County, Calif.; Denver, Colo.; Bridgeport, Conn.; Wilmington, Del.; Broward County, Fla.; Boston, Mass.; Flint, Mich.; Detroit, Mich.; Minneapolis, Minn.; Raleigh, N.C.; Durham, N.C.; Albany, N.Y.; Cincinnati, Ohio; Cleveland, Ohio; Pittsburgh, Pa.; and Dallas, Texas.
was there actually money in the porkulus bill for acorn? and if so - why isn’t that big news? why aren’t the republicans crying foul? didn’t acorn prove that they are just a huge liberal vote stealing entity during the election? should this even be an issue?
sorry a few rhetorical questions...
This is going to get very ugly. As I’ve been saying for some time, it will make the first Great Depression look like a walk in the park.
Republicans in office have lost their acorns... nuts... I urr mean uhhhh...
(Geez it’s catching.. I need some antibiotics,,,err antiobamics...err yeah...)
“We’re going to be calling all of you in to help us shape the agenda. We’re gonna be having meetings all across the country...so that you have input into the agenda.”
Don’t get too concerned just yet.
I worked with these types for years and believe me they LOVE meetings. They are far more concerned with everyone “being heard” and “coming to consensus” than actually doing anything. By the time they’re done ‘processing’, the meeting’s over. The money gets spent though, but most of it on meetings and planning. Rarely is anything substantive ever decided or accomplished.
- so we know this is going to happen; and likely on a street near you. So what is the 'official' response going to be?
ping
That's already not the case in this instance, so don't rely on such reassurances.
I just want to know when they come to a theater near me.
This is gonna get ugly. Odds are completly against any peaceful “mutual exchange of ideas”

Wondering then how they accomplished what they did?

Yes

I call BS on that statement. Most of the families in trouble are younger families. The 'elderly' would probably have already been in a house for quite a while.
