“NYU did not “bend” to student demands and all the malcontents are banned from all NYU buildings - including the dorms - until their expulsion hearings, Brown said.”
Yea...finally some good news.

“I was physically subdued. I was thrown to the ground.”
That’s right, ya little maggot, because in the real world, the most important question is, “can you kick my ass?”
If you are going to start a fight, make sure you can finish it.

"They're requesting so many different things," said Ryan Jacobson, a 19-year-old freshman. "None of it actually seems doable." Hmm, who let the kid with common sense into NYU? This freshman is in for a long four years there.

I did not like nuts like these in the 1960’s and my opinion has not changed one bit.

“Stupid hippies” indeed.
Where was this kind of resolve towards this sort of thing on the part of campus administrations 40 years ago? We’ve got a whole generation of “stupid hippies” running our universities now.
I guess that was it, the NYU bosses recognized these tactics all too well and did what their elders did not do back in the day.

Then came talking points in which the protestors also demanded scholarships for Palestinian students - and for supplies to be donated to the Islamic University of Gaza.Bingo!
To: Hacksaw
Just saw the students being interviewed on TV.
The brats seemed shocked that they are getting expelled.

When the group took over the cafeteria, their stated cause was a demand for greater transparency in the NYU budget. Then came talking points in which the protestors also demanded scholarships for Palestinian students - and for supplies to be donated to the Islamic University of Gaza.
Just some little Jihadis seeing how far the Infidel host will bend over. They'll be back with their president if necessary.

"We're not going to take it any more," Green yelled. "This is our university. We should be allowed to stay. This is unfair and unjust." I hate to say this, but much of our youth disgust me. I've really lost all patience for these spoiled punks.

I never saw this kind of stuff when I was in college in the 70’s. But then I attended a school that was primarily engineering. Most everyone was busy doing some real studying.

All’s well that ends well. Campus police are no longer the keystone cops they once were. The campus police at the local college attend the state police academy, get considerable in-service training, and back-up (and in-turn are backed up) by local and state police. They were getting pretty professional in the last few years anyway, but the nut who shot up VPI precipitated even more attention to campus security. Any college nowadays which can’t handle a bunch of law-breaking students ought to hang it up. Way to go, NYU. You just raised the bar for the rest of the colleges.

Many of the other NYU students who stopped to watch the revolt fizzle said they still didn't know what the rebels were trying to accomplish. I'd say that pretty much sums it up.
Robert Bork once said that boredom has played a bigger role in the decline of this nation than any other factor. I think he was right on target.

They also wanted to re-institute the ban on Coca Cola products.
Friggen idiots. I hope they’re happy they’re going to have to be paying back Obama’s stimulus for decades to come.
