I don't know, since it hasn't happened yet. But I know on 11/4/2008 I was battered by being in line at 6:30 am waiting and ready to cast my ballot for McCain/Palin and against Obama/Biden. Lot of good it did.

The mileage tax is so idiotic idea, I am at loss why its even in the news.

If you drive more - you buy more gasoline - you pay more taxes. Simple enough.

Even more: cars with worse gas-mileage will consume more gas and will pay more taxes: so you are punishing less environmentally-friendly cars and reward more environmentally friendly cars. Isn’t what they want?
