Newsflash: They don’t want a “stimulus”

There is a principle called “Occam’s Razor,” which has been interpreted to mean that the simplest of two competing theories is usually the right one. This comes to mind as President Obama and the flying monkey minions in Congress scramble frantically to ram a trillion dollar “stimulus” bill down American’s throats with no debate, no discussion, and almost no understanding of what is in it.

And what is in it makes it abundantly clear that this is no “stimulus.” It is riddled with hundreds of billions of dollars in pork, payoffs to special interest groups, massive increases in welfare spending, new and more bloated federal bureaucracies. What’s worse, we don’t actually have the money for any of it. It will have to be taxed, printed, and borrowed, all of which will make our economic situation worse, not better.

But … but … the President and the Democrats don’t know this?

Bawny Fwank came out wednesday and said the $275 bn for mortgage bailout wasn’t about the homeowners... It was entirely about saving the states property tax system(s)

It’s all part of the plan to destroy our economy and make us all beholden to the government.

That is the CHANGE all the Obamanoids were cheering for.
We're gonna get it.

I agree w/ her assesment 1000%.

And I’ve been trumpeting it ad-nauseum to anyone w/ ears for weeks now.

What’s frustrating is that most people look at me like a nut case when I spout this stuff. You can see it in their eyes.

I guess I can understand why, really.

Most don’t “keep up” with what is going on the way most of us here do. The entirety of their views and opinions really do come from the MSM, or even John Stewart.

We can lay all the blame on Obama here, but in truth, the kind of apathy and abivalence required within the general population in order for him to pull this off has been building for years.

I did not read all of this, but the headline is what I have been predicting for some time. Democrats want another Great Depression and another New Deal. There cannot be another New Deal without another Great Depression. People do not want socialism “change” when times are good, and thus the reason for another Great Depression. They will just blame it on Bush just like FDR blamed it on Hoover. And the press will give them cover for it. They are repeating history.

That is “change we can believe in.”

I know the feeling, that is why I don’t talk about the government and politics as much as I used to. Either I am preaching to the choir who like you have figured it out long ago or I am talking to fence posts who wouldn’t see an oncoming train until it runs over them. Anyone who still claims to believe all this socialist crap now is either a complete idiot or is lying to further an agenda. Either way you won’t get them to change.
