The Obama administration and the new Congress are quickly handing over to Republicans the same "culture of corruption" issue that Democrats used so effectively against the GOP before coming to power. The political mess for the Democratic Party, however, isn't Burris' conduct alone; it's the pattern that has developed so quickly over the past few months.

Chicago change we can not believe in. Culture of corruption on display for the world to see, while the media ignores it for the most part. The media cabal are too busy looking for jobs in the Obama administration or in Washington working for a Democrat.

I want to know why no reporters asked Obama this question:

“You and Rahm Emanuel ran Rod Blagojevich’s campaign in 2002. You endorsed him in 2006, amid swirling rumors he was under federal investigation. Is this man that different now than the one you helped in his two gubernatorial bids?”

When you have a group of politicians coming out of the Chicago-Springfield-Illinois cesspool, how can anyone assume that one of them, The One, is free of excrement, effluence, or stench sticking to him? We are dealing with one magical Teflon cesspool if anyone can assume that THE ONE is free of corruption. Blagojevich in on tape, presumably, asking that Patty Blagojevich be given the same job considerations that Michelle received, similar to the lucrative job with the University of Chicago Hospital ($300,000 or more?). The campaign did a marvelous job of purging records, but some might still slip out. It seems Barry's Springfield office mysteriously went through a tree-chipper machine, destroying most everything except for a chair is used which is now headed to a museum.

I doubt that the Chicago corruption engine will have a “Chester A. Arthur” moment, but one can hope.

Frankly, as conservatives, this financial crisis is our one and best chance of finally dismantling Washington. The swamp is draining, in the sense that the water is receding revealing the corrupt sea bed. The Washingtonians are desperately trying to raise the water level with these bailouts and stimulus packages.

Big gov't is failing just like the big banks. And as with the Banks and Fred/Fan, the national govertment has to be broken into smaller pieces, the power has to go back to the 50 states, as oiginally intended. This is what we always wanted, and this is our once in a century chance of making it happen.
