Is it illegal to be a member of a “hate group?”
If so, shouldn’t Obama be arrested for being a member of Trinity Church all those years?
What is the definition of a hate group?
Who decides which group is a hate group and which group is just an “angry group?”
Obama and the dems in this country are doing more to divide this country than ever before.
Was race a factor here? What was the color of the policer officer, and of the motorist?
The harassment was exacerbated by the report to the SS.
I think you seriously underestimate the police. I sat on a jury in a murder trial last year. The police impressed me with their knowledge of the law and its application.
I sat on a murder trial jury once. It was an interesting and tiring experience. As a medical investigator I’ve provided evidence for murder trials, most of that evidence gathered in the company of hard working police. I’ve questioned many police, and read many reports. I’m not trying to ridicule police officers. Most are good honest people, well informed and skilled for what they do. There are plenty of others who just get by on the job. ...In our PC world, I don’t find it unusual that the dimwit’s boss rolled over for this injustice. PC is a scary thing that causes bureaucrats to get you before it gets them. Get the dimwit, and the boss will think twice next time. Get them all, if that’s what it takes.
If a sign was undoubtedly a threat to the president, Grassino said it is not within the jurisdiction of the city police to handle that and the FBI or the Secret Service would be called before any action was taken.

The SS should not have been at the house in the first place.
That was my question also..........
I'm not familiar with Secret Service procedure. I'd imagine that they need to investigate all reported threats to the president. Would a phone interview be "harassment and intimidation"? Plenty of paranoid freepers would call it that. They'd complain about checking whatever this poor schmoe had on file, too.
I think that once the SS was contacted, they had little choice but to check things out. It was the fool that initiated this - and his commanders, or their procedures that allowed it to escalate - that need to be excoriated here.
Like I said, I'm not waiting on anything to happen. I'd be worried, though, if there was a *real* threat reported by OKC PD...How much credence do you think that they have, now?
Sorry, Conservatives work for a living..we don't have time for that.
I wonder if they took them off?
Nope. I still see them on a regular basis - at least here in Austin.
How bout after work?
''The Secret Service called and said they were at my house," Harrison said.
After talking to his attorney, Harrison went home where he met the Secret Service.
''When I was on my way there, the Secret Service called me and said they weren't going to ransack my house or anything ... they just wanted to (walk through the house) and make sure I wasn't a part of any hate groups."
I looked at them too. Some were really ripping the Ø.
Obama loves intimidation. He's a street organizer at heart and he won't let any slight go unpunished. The Secret Service is making his point for him because they follow the orders of the President.
Was that cartoon advocating assassination??
Hmmm, those guys might get held for questioning ... or rendition ....
Now Harrison is on the “List”. All dissidents will be dealt with accordingly in the near future.
I just noticed that the original article that was partly posted on another thread has been changed! The new version of the article now leaves out the conversation details between the man and the officer! Interesting...
Cheese and crackers. It’s getting bad out there. I don’t know if I would have let the obama ss roam through my home without my lawyer present.
I’ve been festering over this issue all morning, perhaps you could help me vett another idea. how about a sticker which says,
“Is Obama chewing on your face?”
I’ve been reprimanded before, in this forum and another, in person and by e-mail, for being particularly insensitive, but this boiled up like a festering pimple as I tried to think sweet thoughts about the whole thing.
The nucleus of the thought came after that NY Post editorial cartoon and I was trying to think of what Sean Delonas really meant.
LOL. Good one. That should be a bumber sticker.
