The beheading of women is a matter for states to decide?
That’s above my pay grade.
As long as "we" is being used in a very general and very loose sense then: Yes, "we" are now so respectful of the Muslim's religion that we soft-peddle atrocities committed in it's name.
Terrorists have to be rubbing their grimy hands with delight at the cowardice of the left and its lapdog press.
Well, this delegation from the Commonwealth of Virginia cast ITS vote in OPPOSITION of the beheading of women.
I am surprised to hear that NOW is still in operation, they haven’t had any legitimacy since the early 1990’s. Perhaps their steadfast support of President Clinton was the moment they jumped the shark, or perhaps they were simply too inefficient a leftwing organization to be treated deferentially.

Yeah....that old tenth amendment...rearing it’s head again.
This story got play on all the local channels yesterday. All of them (that I saw, anyway) mentioned the “Bridges TV” and how this moslem guy who wanted to portray Islam in a positive light beheaded his wife after she filed for divorce. On the local Fox station, I thought I detected a suppressed laugh from the anchor as she reported the story.
I don’t intend to forget this story. If I’m ever confronted by a muslim wanting to portray their cult in a “positive” light, I’m gonna ask if he’s gonna whack his wife’s head off.
The sad truth is that the ideologues of NOW do not differentiate between a woman who has been whistled at on the street and one who has just been beheaded. All men are oppressors, all women victims. Within that mindset there’s really nothing remarkable going on here.
I don't think NOW understands the word "domestic".

I’m with NOW in being with the States such that each can determine if it is illegal to not allow wife beheading.
