Sen. Roland "Tombstone" Burris (D-Lying Weasel) hatches his lies by the minute; they bubble out of his mouth like insect larvae from the mud.
Once their wings are dry, they launch from our senator's lips and buzz. Yet with all the buzzing, let's consider a few things.
First, there are two Chicago politicians who should get credit for Burris being in the Senate to embarrass everyone in Illinois. No, not just former Gov. Rod Blagojevich. He appointed Burris, but that's not the whole story. I'm talking about two other Chicago pols:
President Barack Obama.
And Illinois House Speaker Michael "What Affidavit?" Madigan.
*snip*
Yes, my head is quite chunky with meat, but facts are facts. Obama was the beneficiary of Burris' lies.
About the only person who believes Burris didn't lie under oath to the Blagojevich impeachment committee about his contacts with the governor's fundraisers is Burris himself. Without those lies, the Senate would never have seated him in Obama's old spot.

~~PING!
Didn’t have to say “...(D-Lying Weasel)...”
Just saying (D) is sufficient.
Saving internet carbon emissions for our children.
It will get much worse, when we hear the truth on the FBI tapes.
Now that Burris is not re-electable the dems will throw him under the bus. They got their pork bill passed.
Can’t wait until the rest of the story comes out in the Blago trial!! Buying some stock in popcorn futures...lol
John Kass is great. Saw him on Fox. I hope he gets more national attention.

Ramal is a monkey ( or however you spell his name )

Me, too.
This is buried near the bottom of the story... interesting:
And, after Burris tried to fix the lie he told to Durkin in the impeachment hearingthat he had no contact about fundraising with Blagojevich people other than one aide named Lon MonkBurris sent an affidavit to a Madigan flunky, state Rep. Barbara Flynn Currie (D-Madigan), dated Feb. 4.
Currie held that affidavit in her desk, conveniently, until after Burris voted last week for the near trillion-dollar Obama pork/stimulus package. Now Madigan is demanding an investigation of possible perjury and has sent the documents to a Springfield prosecutor.
Must have wanted to get the $ for the state first before flushing those around Blago...
We will now see how committed Fitz is to perjury investigations.
He spent million investigating the Plame incident when Colon Powell knew the answer and didnt tell him, Perjury by Powell by not giving that information was still perjury in my book.
After all that money was spent he got a puny perjury conviction of Scooter Libby.
Now he has a high profile case against a black Senator sitting in his lap We will soon see how big his cajones are.
Oh, she’s definitely a blithering machine-iac.
I hope she gets called up on her skullduggery.

This so called Senator should be refered to as “Vote Number 60 Burris”
How nice Obama gets a pass on the many fools he picked to be in his cabinet with major tax problems, or under Grand Jury investigation and some who are still in his adm. who would be in prison if not for a D after their name.
Then you have Blago, Burris and who knows what else.
And people wonder how germans were taken in by Hitler,
I see the same thing by another Socialist, Obama.
hope springs eternal ( hahahaha )
“...to embarrass everyone in Illinois.” Are you kidding? There’s a hell of a lot more in Illinois politics to embarrass you people than Burris!
It’s in our best interest to let Burris finish out the term. The guy has no chance of being re-elected, which may give a Republican like Rep Mark Kirk a chance to win the Senate seat in 2010. Otherwise, the new governor will name some moderate Democrat like Lisa Madigan or Tammy Duckworth, and they could win in 2010.
Once again, we find out that there is a lot more on these tapes that nobody except the U.S. Attorney has heard. Why didn’t he come out when Burris was appointed and say something? He certainly piped up when the Obama transition team was getting dirty with Blago. It makes you wonder what his true motives were blowing the whistle too early. And maybe there is something to Blago’s point that he didn’t get a fair impeachment trial because no one was allowed to listen to all of the tapes.
