VATICAN CITY Pope Benedict XVI on Wednesday told U.S. Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, a Catholic who supports abortion rights, that Catholic politicians have a duty to protect life "at all stages of its development."

He should excommunicate her.
What are the odds? I say about zero.
He should perform an exorcism on the Queen Biotch.
This is like a game of chicken between a Bulldozer and a bicycle, and Pelosi’s got training wheels. C’mon Nance, you haven’t punk’d until the Pontiff has challenged you.
Please, these are Democrats. They would fight to the end in the name of “religious tolerance” for the right of a muslim to wear a head rag into a bank or for a drivers license photo, but would force a catholic doctor to murder an unborn baby in the name of “patients’ rights”?
@#$%bags, Democrats and those who elect them.
Catholic in name only.
Is it “bell, book and candle” time?
I’d like to see the Pope do it.
I love it. The pope himself, tells Pelosi she was wrong about the comments she made about the church’s stand on abortion during the primaries were most incorrect! : ) I hope he warned her that her soul is in danger of eternal damnation!
Agreed. Maybe he’s giving her the rope to hang herself, and then he will do it! Boy, would I have loved to have been a fly on the wall at that meeting!
Although I had some issues with him, this is the kind of thing that Tim Russertt would have run with:
“Madame Speaker, you said there was no conflict between your Catholicism and your pro-choice position. The Pope has told you otherwise. Which of you is wrong?”
Her smile would get so wide her latest face job would tear at the cheeks.
Being a pro "choice" Catholic is about as logical as running a vegetarian steak house.
Being Catholic means certain things and one of those things is that human life begins at conception and that innocent human life should not be ended for convenience.
"The phrase "bell, book, and candle" refers to an archaic method of excommunication for one who had committed a particularly grievous sin. Apparently introduced around the late 9th century, the practice was once used by the Roman Catholic Church. This ceremony involved a bishop, with 12 priests, reciting an oath on the altar:
We separate him, together with his accomplices and abettors, from the precious body and blood of the Lord and from the society of all Christians; we exclude him from our Holy Mother, the Church in Heaven, and on earth; we declare him excommunicate and anathema; we judge him damned, with the Devil and his angels and all the reprobate, to eternal fire until he shall recover himself from the toils of the devil and return to amendment and to penitence. After reciting this the priests would respond "So be it!" The bishop would ring a bell to evoke a death toll, close a holy book to symbolize the excommunicant's separation from the church, and snuff out a candle or candles, knocking them to the floor to represent the target's soul being extinguished and removed from the light of God.
Surely Pelosi knows the position of the church. Wonder why she was really there and if it was personal.
No “reproach”, “warning”, “condemnation”, “excommunication”???
Just “The Vatican released the pope’s remarks to Pelosi, saying Benedict spoke of the church’s teaching “on the dignity of human life from conception to natural death.” That is an expression often used by the pope when expressing opposition to abortion.”
Feh. This Pope has no backbone!!! He should have told her outright, damn all the political/P.C. talk, “STOP PROMOTING/ENDORSING ABORTION OR YOU WILL BE EXCOMMUNICATED.”
Period!! >:-(
Now she’ll just blow him off, and go around saying what a thrill it was to meet the Pope in person, yada yada yada, and add it to her resume, all the while finding more ways to kill innocent little babies in the name of Molech. Shame on her, and shame on the Pope for allowing it!! >:-(
Ahhhh, for the good old days.
Is it not moral, in the end, to kill to protect and defend innocent human life? That is the question.
Well, I’d pray for her soul (and those of the others who promote abortion) IF SHE HAD ONE, but I’m pretty certain SanFranGranNan sold hers to Satan LONG AGO!!! >:-(
God help our country, and our children!
I'd rather pray for the soul of a NAZI than Pelosi.
At least the guilty as sin NAZI was more "honest" than a Pelosi-ite in their demonic sin.
