Palin has a 17 yr old daughter who had sex and got pregnant and had a baby. Geez, like it hasn’t happened to many families since the beginning of time.

But this thread need not be sad if we came back to a more civil discussion instead of making it mean what it is not intended to.

There is no intent to disparage Gov. Palin or her grandchild.

We can get back by asking a basic and more general question --- what should young people like these do when their baby is born out of wedlock ?

Should the guy marry the girl or should he not marry her ? What would be best for society and for the child ?

That is my main concern. If you don't want it to be personal, let's keep the discussion GENERAL.
