Yes, but perfect people are unacceptable because they must be from alien civilizations. And the imperfect are unacceptable because they are, well, imperfect. Circling, circling, circling ... those buzzards just keep circling.
Making excuses is not the same as fixing problem. And the problem is not a lack of perfection as much as a lack of moral restraint.
