ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) — Bristol Palin loves motherhood, but the teenage daughter of Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin says she's not getting much sleep these days.

Bristol Palin says in a two-part interview on Fox News Channel's "On the Record" that she wishes her pregnancy had "happened in, like, 10 years so I could have a job and an education and be, like, prepared and have my own house and stuff."

Palin goes on to say that son Tripp, born Dec. 27, brings her so much joy, she doesn't regret having him at all. She's engaged to the baby's father, Levi Johnston.

The governor also made an appearance in the interview, which took place Sunday in Fairbanks.

Part one of the interview aired Monday night and the second part was scheduled to air Tuesday night.

Oh, I see. Bristol’s real fault is that she isn’t as stainless as Jesus!?! Believe me that attitude of yours was clear a long time ago.

Bristol is 18...and not a biblical scholar...I don’t see her as playing a game. She is just being a very young person with alot of things yet to learn.

I hope neither of you ever have a grandchild that is called a bastard. Shaking my head at both of you. This baby is wanted by his parents & her family & it is THEIR business! If they get married then fine, if not then they don’t. Still it is not our business.

Bristol’s main fault exposed to public comment and ridicule is her sexual immorality, along with her inability to conceive of it as such.

It wasn’t a mistake—oops! was that your penis?—it was immorality.

I come from a tradition that holds that forgiveness has no force without repentance.

Oops! My apologies to Michael Reagan. He was adopted.

You have cheered posts accusing me of dishonesty?

How is that not a moral judgment?

There’s plenty of dishonesty to go around on this thread—most of it self-deception, I believe.

Why apologise?

I thought bastardy was no reflection on the child.

Patti Davis was her stage name. She posed for Playboy, did some drugs, rebelled against her parents (wrote some really nasty articles)...and guess what? Ronald Reagan still managed to lead the Free World and tell Mr. Gorbechav to ‘tear that down that wall.’ Patti, came back to her parents after her father took ill. Funny, how bad things happen; people seek forgiveness...and the cycle goes on.

“I hope neither of you ever have a grandchild that is called a bastard.”

Well, thanks, I hope so too. I also hope my children are chaste, not just that they “get away with it.”

It’s not a reflection on the child. The comment was made about his father though. Your reading comprehension problems are still plaguing you. Not your biggest fault though.

“Projection.”

Most of it comes out that way, yes.

A lot of posters don’t seem to hold to the traditional understanding of premarital sex as immoral, but want to consider themselves champions of conservatism.

You made apologies to Michael, not to the memory of Ronald.

The reading comprehension problems still seem to be yours.

No self deception here...I was merely pointing out the well written post of rintinse’s at 341. Every now and then a FReeper will just nail a point down (a three shot on my score card).

Rintense was right...because of mindsets like yours that absolutely no human (conservative or other) can possibly adhere to the strict moral code/compass/ideology you express, no candidate is thus ‘worthy’ of your (and other such thinkers) support...ergo, President Obama.

As a mother of 6 children, 5 now adults I can tell you that you can never be certain of what will happen. You pray & hope that you have taught your children well & if they make a mistake you forgive them & deal with it. At least that is what my parents taught me.

“Not your biggest fault though.”

Why don’t you go ahead and tell me about the beam in my eye then?

Because, after all, the biggest problem society faces today is certainly too much judgmentalism on matters of sexual immorality.

Was it a mistake or was it sin?

I won’t back down until everyone shows their hand on this question—I want to know how low the bar has slipped.

Patti Davis. Couldn’t remember her name. She wrote a book. I do recall reading at the end of RR’s life, she was there for him. I thinhk Ron, the son, is still an idiot. I dont’ recall much about him other than he was a ballet dancer or something. Maybe not true but it’s what I remember, lol.

Funny, isn’t it. Ronald Reagan, even with his divorce and goofy kids, hollywood actor, managed to still be the best president of the 20th century. I was just a high school kid when he was first term president. What an impact he made on my life.

He made an impact on many. Last week, while subbing, a kid mentioned that his Dad thought Reagan was the BEST president ever. I had to remain objective, but told the kid to tell his Dad that my Dad agreed with him :)
