ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) Bristol Palin loves motherhood, but the teenage daughter of Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin says she's not getting much sleep these days.
Bristol Palin says in a two-part interview on Fox News Channel's "On the Record" that she wishes her pregnancy had "happened in, like, 10 years so I could have a job and an education and be, like, prepared and have my own house and stuff."
Palin goes on to say that son Tripp, born Dec. 27, brings her so much joy, she doesn't regret having him at all. She's engaged to the baby's father, Levi Johnston.
The governor also made an appearance in the interview, which took place Sunday in Fairbanks.
Part one of the interview aired Monday night and the second part was scheduled to air Tuesday night.

I thought the plan was for them to at least get a HS diploma first.
You gotta be kidding me?
Shut it?
Because they’ve already put the wedding off once, and show no clarity at all about when it will occur?
I’m not saying it’s definitely Levi—although his own screwed-up family suggests the problem was probably on his side—but it’s pretty clear the relationship between them is on the ropes now that it’s centred around diaper-changing rather than fooling around behind her parents’ backs.
Omg, omg...I am rolling here!! I love that line, have to remember it!
You know there are male chastity belts too...so where is the pic? lmao!
LMAO! So now it’s the “public schools” lol. I wonder where some of you people live that the “public schools” are so influential. I always thought it was the parents who were the role models. Guess that’s only true with some parents.
So because you have not been personally notified as to when they’ll get married, Levi is a bad father? How wonderfully provincial.
Sarah’s sons are Track and Trig
Bristol’s son is Tripp
I think....
They were too painful looking!
I didn’t want to have a huge list. But thanks for naming him.
I think we should start calling the fathers of illegitimate children the bastards! Stop with the labeling of the moms and child so much and target the bastards who sow their seed and take off!!
“BRISTOL: Eventually, we’d like to get married. We’re focusing on, like, getting through school and just getting an education and stuff, getting a career going.”
Oh yes, they have it all planned out and I’m just jealous I wasn’t invited.
It is of course your privilege to accuse others of whatever you like to avoid processing the actual facts on the ground.
Why is it SOOOOO important to you that they get married right away?
Sorry, I don't understand what you are asking.
But he won 14 Gold Medals, Twink. That’s proof that it’s OK!!! I saw it on a Wheaties box. ;^)
The DU trolls and Self Righeous SOBs come out from under their rocks when Gov. Palin’s name is mentioned.
Just glad I am a Gov. Palin supporter, the adult unlike some on this thread
Yep, they’re about as predictable with their PDS as Daily Kos or DU.
Marriage if they don’t intend to commit their lives to each other and their children would indeed be a mistake.
But their unwillingness to even commit to a timeline for commitment indicates that commitment is going to be a problem for them.
Again, adoption would probably have been the best and most mature decision in this case. But we already knew we were dealing with teenagers...fortunately the Palin family, at least, is functional enough to give the child a fighting chance.
But we can’t pretend that any part of this, other than not rending the child limb from limb, was any sort of moral triumph or uplifting story.
exactly, DU loosers who are lurking are cheering them on.
yep, I’m with both of you.
