CA: Where I Stand on the Budget Proposal (Garamendi exposes hoax of "cuts")
The California Majority Report ^

President Obama is in a desperate race to revive the American economy. The proposed budget is not coordinated with the federal stimulus package. In fact the budget is in direct conflict with much of the federal stimulus bill and will dampen and delay its effectiveness. Federal money intended to strengthen schools simply replaces money that this budget cuts from the very same schools. Federal money that is intended to provide health care for low income Californians replaces money that this budget removes. Federal money that will support public transportation replaces money that is cut from the California budget. And so on and so, program after program. Net Zero. The presidents effort to restart the California economy is not helped by this budget.

The next time you hear anyone suggest that the budget package being "negotiated" includes "cuts" or "deep cuts," let it be known: there are no cuts!

This part of Garamendi's editorial in the leftist
California Majority Report was highlighted by Sen. Bob Dutton (R) on the Senate floor about 1/2 hour ago.
Thanks Sen. Dutton for exposing the fraud and fighting against taxes!

Of course not.
now instead the burden of replacing those state cuts will fall on the rest of working America.
Expect lots more. - I can virtually predict it.

We really need to start calling
all of the legislative critters, R and D, and telling them to oppose this.
Listening to these liberals push this thing is really a gagger.

All Porkulus will do is allow the politicians in California to punt real reform on down the road. It’s time to punt those politicians on down the road.

No cuts, federal bailout and tax increases. Nice. And more borrowing (debt).
And sale of revenue generating assets for a dime (lottery).
