House Star Hugh Laurie is the Grand Marshal For Auto Club 500 At Auto Club Speedway On Feb. 22.
Pray for our troops in harm's way around the globe. God bless their families.
He further defended himself saying, It all happened pretty fast and it was unfortunate how it went down. (But) my statistics at the plate tracks speak for themselves and I dont really have to defend myself at how good a plate racer I am and what kind of moves I make out on the racetrack.
I got just as much right to be on that racetrack and do whatever the hell I want to do on it as anybody else out there. And I race just as hard as I choose to race and want to race, and I race people how I want to be raced. Ive always raced with a lot of respect and Ill continue to do so in the future.

Now hold there Cowboy, I have trained to ask more questions regardless of the answer offered...
Welcome lyn, usually this is a fun place to spend race day.
We have a weekly ping list to the current Nascar race thread, would you like to be added?
Hee hee.
Just tightened the packing nut. She already had another valve ready for me to replace it. First thing that went right today.
Started off with a stopped up commode here and it got deeper as the day went along.

Help me out Norm. What show was it where the bartender answered the phone..”Duffies Tavern, Where the Elite Meet to Eat” ?
Duffy's Tavern, an American radio situation comedy (CBS, 1941-1942; NBC-Blue Network, 1942-1944; NBC, 1944-1951), often featured top-name stage and film guest stars but always hooked those around the misadventures, get-rich-quick-scheming, and romantic missteps of the title establishment's malaprop-prone, metaphor-mixing manager, Archie, played by the writer/actor who co-created the show, Ed Gardner. The final show on radio was broadcast on December 28, 1951.
My grandpa and me used to listen to it around 1944.
