I have spent a goodly portion of the day trying to get through to my state representatives to urge them to get on board this train before it leaves the station. Was able to talk to one chief of staff but still left requests for call backs from my reps themselves. I've requested an acquaintance of mine who can actually get through to the governor for assistance in championing the cause. One tidbit of information I was able to glean from my conversations is that there is awareness of this movement at least in some state offices, AND there is apparently some early discussions going on! Texas really, REALLY needs to come on line. It would be a major "statement" that neither the feral beast nor the dinomedia could ignore.
