It all began with what must have seemed like a good idea: creating a television network to counter the negative stereotypes many Americans hold against Muslims in the post-9/11 world.
Muzzammil Hassan, who founded Bridges TV in November 2004 to counter anti-Islam stereotypes, surrendered to police Thursday. Hassan touted the network as the "first-ever full-time home for American Muslims," according to a press release.
"Every day on television we are barraged by stories of a 'Muslim extremist, militant, terrorist, or insurgent,'" Hassan said in the 2004 release. "But the stories that are missing are the countless stories of Muslim tolerance, progress, diversity, service and excellence that Bridges TV hopes to tell."
Apparently it was all fun and games for Hassan, until his wife lost her head....

This story has been posted numerous times already, but it’s important it keeps being repeated. Over and over.
In a few years...bringing up facts like that will lead you to “hate speech” court.
They have it in Canada now...be it a fact or an opinion a Canadian can be called into provincial “speech” courts in several provinces.
The “judge” has the power to order such “speech” to stop, and can fine a perpertrator.
Can anyone doubt that under Obama-messiah the same will soon come here?

The media can’t spin this, so they bury it.
You will usually not hear of Swedish Nuns beheading anyone but that might also be a stereotype.
Thank Allah, he was only a moderate — imagine the carnage a radical would have done. /sarcasm
Rush mentioned this case today; however, didn’t this happen last Thursday? It certainly took time to “get legs”.
