REGIME CHANGE 2010

It was supposedly the most urgent need of the decade. Had to be at the White House by President's Day. It couldn't even wait another day or two so that the congressionals who were voting on the pork barrel spending bill could have the time to read it, pick it apart and debate the different items in the omnibus bill.

The news media didn't even get copies of the bill. After all, we can't take any chances on details leaking out.

But you know who did get copies of the bill? The lobbyists. Those are the ones that Obama promised to keep way far away from his administration. Oh well. There goes another dream wish down the drain. Somebody out there is keeping track of campaign promises not kept. I hope.

Another campaign promise that went down the drain was the one about a bill being posted on his web site for five days from the time of congressional passage to the time he signs a bill. That's not going to happen with this one. He's going to zoom back into town in time to sign the bill tomorrow. And being the true media hog that he is, he's asking for prime time broadcast time so we can all watch the expensive ink flow onto his signature.

And this is how he thinks it's going to go for the next four years. If he doesn't get his way, he'll become combative and retaliatory. He lacks the class and grace to do otherwise.

But there are other winds of change starting to blow. They're just breezes right now, but they'll pick up steam and energy and they continue to blow the refrain of "Regime change" by 2010. Mid-term elections. Congressional power shift.

Keep telling yourself. Regime change -- 2010. Out go all the chairmen of all the congressional committees, like Charlie Rangel, who can't quite remember to pay his taxes either. But then, he's another tax cheating democrat.

Regime change 2010. Take back the House. Regime change 2010. Take back the Senate. It can happen.

Watch Michael Steele, the new chair of the Republican National Committee. He's not going to roll over for anybody. Pray for his safety and health.

Already Arlan Specter's approval rating has gone down to 27% in Pennsylvania. Let's hope the Republicans can put a conservative into the primary to run against him. Specter can be defeated in the primary.

Regime change 2010.

Harry Reid's set has already been targeted out there in Nevada. His senatorial seat is targeted by Steele for regime change 2010.

Oh, one other thing. You know that $800+ billion pork barrel project bill that was just passed? Want to know how much the individual tax payers will benefit from it by way of a tiny little adjustment of some $400 a year in decreased tax withholding? Comes to about $13 a week.

Just keep that in mind as you watch the Democrats go on their big spending sprees to nowhere.

Regime change 2010. Now that gives me hope! It's change I can believe in.

There was a hurry to get it done so Congress could enjoy the holiday weekend. Period.
And now it sits waiting to be signed until after the holiday weekend.
Unbelievable.

Arrogance. HE wanted it done urgently and once it was, HE is taking his sweet time to sign it. Just so no one forgets WHO is really important, here.

Plus Barry had a romantic V-Day date in Chi-town over the weekend. Don't forget that.

But before 2010 even gets here, we MUST have voter registration change!

Don’t give ACORN another chance to steal it! (And with Zero taking control of the Census, does anybody think they WON’T have access to the data?)

I suggest dumping ALL voter registration data and starting fresh. No more cemetery voting (I’m in Massachusetts, where it originated) and no more multi-state registrations. Give vote fraud the finger — the Iraqi purple finger!

And please note that each state sets its own voting rules, so the feds have no say on this issue. Tell your state to dump its voter registration rolls NOW!

Plus the Dems knew the Burris thing was going to come out and they wanted to rush it through while they had the 60 votes in the Senate....

NOT happy to see the press, no doubt.

>so the feds have no say on this issue...”

And above all, we need to keep it this way.

Maybe the answer is to re-register all voters every election. We live in an ambulatory society, in large part, so maybe this makes sense too.

We’d be willing to re-register. And why not have photo-ID-voter registration?

Agree with you completely about ACORN. If we can’t keep the feds from giving them money, then keep them in court explaining the voter fraud! Not all those suits have been adjudicated, have they? Does anybody know?

After 4 years of arrogance on steroids, will the American people be eager for 4 more? Maybe not, but they will approach the 2012 election the way Nixon did th 1972 election and Clinton did the 1996 election—use the power of the office to make sure the other party doesn’t nominate someone who can win.

With the three traitors, the Democrats had one more than the minimum number of votes. If Burris has to resign, his replacement will be a reliable Democrat vote. Plus there is still the Minnesota seat—next time they may need only one Republican to get to 60.

I have high hopes for Michael Steele to do something about solving this.

Has anyone heard more about the tech summit that Steele had for the RNC?
