You hit the nail on the head...economic issues-big one trade...my hubby said when McCain went not once but three times to Michigan and said the jobs were not coming back...then during the campaign talked of re-training that it was over for McCain...re-training is a dirty word here because re-train for what? The health sector? Tech-moving jobs overseas hand over fist.

He did the same thing in OH. He went to the one town in OH, Wilmington, which is losing 8,000-10,000 jobs because of DHL shutting down, and was taped talking to a lady about the wonderful retraining programs he was going to institute to take care of the problem. Retrain 10,000 people in a rural area, to do what? How many dental assistants can such a region use? How many bedpan changers and welders can be employed in that town? It was a weak, ineffective, poorly thought out response and the 'Rats absolutely pummeled him with him.

Obomba didn't say much, either, but it was effective. He said, first, Bush's Fault (naturally), and, second, he was going to "re-negotiate" NAFTA. Re-negotiate, eh? How? In what way? Never said, and the MSM sure didn't ask. But it was enough. The presstitutes ran with it and the sheeple bought it, and Obomba was in.
