All of this sounds great, count me in 200%, especially what you stated about getting to know one another personally. To that end, I take this opportunity to point out again that the Michigan state board (and I suspect others) is not working properly.

On each state board, there is offered the "To be notified of new messages in this locale, click here" option. When one clicks this on the MI board, a message pops up letting you know the document doesn't exist.

This has been hurting us in the Great Lake state since before the election. Many of us used to make great use of the MI board, particularly for local and state politics and networking. It's not just a matter of us being to lazy to peek in on the state board once in a while; without the instant notices, many of us literally forget that it's there.

Is there some way this can be fixed? I know we're not the only state having this particular problem. Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

Thank you so much for getting the MI notice system un-snafu’d! Many of us are already excited about planning a state get-together. Mille grazie!
