Hitler needed a docile and devoted female population to breed the supermen he needed to populate his dream of the 1,000-year Reich.
Even as Allied bombers turned Germany into brick dust, Hitler gave orders that industries which logically should have been transformed into armaments plants continue to pump out lipsticks, nylons and fashion accessories ‘for the gracious ladies’.
In Nazi art, films and magazines, women were always the fairer sex, defending the home-front as their menfolk fought on the battlefields.

Actually, that is based on fact. Every trooper or pioneer in the United States in the 19th century knew that the absolute worst fate one could suffer would be to fall captive and be turned over to the squaws for “special attention.” The same fears were felt by the Brits in Afghanistan in the 19th century (tribal women with knives and a helpless captive equates to acts that decency forbids be described).

Well, they were SHRUNKEN heads, and she displayed them kind of as an anthropolgical exhibit to show she “supported the sciences.”
The important difference is that people were not worshiping her personally.
They were just very excited to think that she represented their hopes and dreams for our nation's future.
