Would the new Fairness Doctrine cover network/cable tv “news” as well?
Thing is - nothing can be done to stop them if they want to run Talk Radio off the air. Not with the Fairness Doctrine - but with the Local Content Rule or “Diveristy” Programming. Sure, all the hosts can run it through the court system to buy time, but the Government holds the upper hand: licensing of radio stations. It won’t be long before the Rush’s, Levin’s and Hannity’s of the world are all gone. Start the clock ticking.

We start by boycotting extreme liberals and boycotting anyone who advertises during a liberal TV show.

So when does the right wing get to target Television and movies then?
You know, if I had a business and I ran it into the ground, following Democrat logic, shouldn’t I be able to get money from the government to keep my business afloat even though I can’t make any money at it? I mean, others have successful businesses, that’s not fair, is it?

I kind of hope they actually do this. For one people will see the democrats for what they really are which are Fascist and/or socialists if not already. Second can you imagine Rush, Hannity, Levin, Beck and all the rest going up to testify. They would have a field day ripping the dems apart for all to see in the hearings.
I wonder how many jobs would be de-stimulated by that sort of action?

Read the comments. They are very interesting. Several libs expressed opposition to the Fairness Doctrine calling it what it really is: Censorship. So, with some libs crossing the aisle and the rest of the Libs demanding that the Right be silenced, its no wonder they closed the comments section.

Why don’t they just start up their own radio stations and blast the Liberal viewpoint! they could call it AIR AMERICA and OBAMA radio. Oh, they already did and no one listened did they!
Can’t Rush Limbaugh sue ABC News and CNN for equal time under such a statute?
