When it all blows up in their faces... they own it.
Who is pulling Obama's strings?
That, and an empty suit. Affirmative action, helping idiots puff themselves up.
Didn’t quite work out as planned did it?
I think I heard on Glenn Beck this morning that instead of urging Congress to pass the plan as Obama urged, the Caterpillar employees were asking them NOT to pass it.
This is where Obama thinks that because he has media fooled with his supposed high IQ and they are adoring, the average guy is fooled by his snakeoil salesman. Most working class have a radar of who is a crook and who isn’t. Sadly, some are strong armed by Unions, but those who aren’t, aren’t fooled by his rhetoric. People who don’t cram their brains, lead by their gut a lot of times. And I know my gut tells me he is NO GOOD.
Yes, he has repeatedly screwed up and revealed his incompetence.
But the three Republican traitors have now voted for Porkulus, so it will almost certainly pass later tonight.
Same as his screwups in the campaign. As he pointed out the other day, “I won.”
This bill is immense. A lot of pork, a lot of gravy to bribe the voters, a lot of money to Acorn to buy illegal votes. He may be increasingly hated, but he seems to win when it counts. So far, at least.
Like FDR, he will drive the country into the ground while blaming his enemies, and the press will cooperate all the way into the ground. Roosevelt was re-elected to four terms.
The democrats fought Lincoln literally to his death! Perhaps my gggrandchildren will witness the same party of liars and assasins claim Ronald Reagan as their own. They also will know better.
He’s missed Lincoln’s birthday, which is just okay with me. Lincoln’s birthday was Februay 12.
He was scared. He got opposition he couldn’t imagine. He went through some meaningless motions to do something. The power is Pelosi’s, not his
For all his theatrics ( if I do the math right)
Obama turned only 4 Democrat congressman.
Not one Republican was swayed.
Seven Democrats remained against, one voted present.
Barry played the Two Stooges -Snowe and Specter ( an old man with cancer ) and took advantage
of the mentally disabled Senator, Susan Collins.
Snowne and Collins are from Maine ...I believe...and they have the Bath Iron works in their district...watch for contracts going there...actually we need more Navy ships...that could be good...course they are going to be high priced.
Damn, I really try not to get paranoid with this stuff, but it’s almost like he’s spotlighting who his “foes” are for future reference and blame.
More proof that Obama is stupid
Bath Iron Works wins JHSV design contract

BATH, Maine, Feb. 15 (UPI) -- Bath Iron Works has won a $3 million U.S. Navy contract to design the Joint High Speed Vessel.
"The U.S. Navy has awarded Bath Iron Works, a subsidiary of General Dynamics (NYSE:GD), a $3 million contract to develop a preliminary design for the Joint High Speed Vessel -- JHSV -- Program. Work to be performed during the next six months by Bath Iron Works and its teammate Rolls-Royce includes the functional definition of the ship structure, systems and general arrangements of ship spaces," General Dynamics said in a statement earlier this month.
"The JHSV program is an effort between the U.S. Army and the Navy to acquire vessels for fast intra-theater transportation of troops, military vehicles and equipment," the company said.
"The ship concept proposed by Bath Iron Works and Rolls-Royce is based on a Rolls-Royce design for a roll-on/roll-off passenger vessel. The steel mono-hull design features a combined diesel and gas turbine propulsion plant, water jets, self sustaining roll-on/roll-off and load-on/load-off capabilities, a large cargo area and a flight deck for helicopter operations," General Dynamics said.
Schock is a young up-and-comer in the Illinois Republican Party. Good on him.....
