Here, you don't have to pay attention to unreasonable demands — or even reasonable demands unless they are codified by the local, state and federal laws. In this country, your ability to swing your fist ends at my nose. You cross that line, you'll probably be quite unhappy.

Until recently, we have the liberty of following the dictates of our conscience — once again, so long as it doesn't break any local, state or federal laws. What has happened is the nation's collective moral compass has been broken. The clear and present rights of the Constitution have been legislated away by state and federal judges making “interpretive” decisions with regard to fundamental rights. The greatness of this country has been sullied by “groupthink,” “feelings,” — all of which are counter-productive to leading a peaceful and Godly life.

We are living in dangerous times. At least here, if someone tells you your wife should cover, you have approximately 150,000 citizens to back you up if you decide to refuse. If anyone tries to take it further, we still can manage to make sure they never have the chance to bully anyone else. That hope is fading, but it still exists.

It never has existed in some cultures or if it did, it has been beaten out of them. Once you taste freedom, you'll never go back. Yes, it scary. Sure we have problems, but at the end of the day, I can close my door to the world, enjoy my family around the dinner table, go to church on Sundays without fear and tell everyone else to go pound sand if they don't like it.

These other “cultures” can't imagine what it's like to face the entire world down, make your way in it and reap the rewards of the hard work you do. They might as well have been born a mushroom for all they know of life. That's what we wanted to bring to them — not our faith — it would be nice, but it's the freedom to be masters of their own destiny and they just can't get it.

They might as well have been born a mushroom for all they know of life.

That's exactly what they are. All their lives, they've been kept in the dark and fed bullsh*t.
