Just called Senator Lautenberg’s office 202-224-3224.Joe answered on the third ring.

I aksed him if the Senator was still planning on voting even though he hasn’t read the entire Bill. Joe said, “yes because he is privvy to the Committee Reports. He knows what is in the Bill.”

I asked Joe if the Senator is comfortable with the vote proceeding even though a majority of the Senators have not read the additonal 1,000 pages that were quickly added two nights ago and Joe said, “yes, the Senator is comfortable with voting.

The feeling I walked away with is Joe definitely didn’t care and the Senator didn’t care one way or the other. I am so disgusted.

I told them I felt it was unacceptable to proceed and irresponsible given the reckless way the Bill was thrown together.

It is so frustrating to care more than the Senators do and their Staff. Sickening.

I have mailed every one of them, called all, got through to some, many mailboxes full. It is done, too late to change their minds now, voting in 5 minutes.

Lousyberg is not going to break from LIB PARTY/POLICY LINES...EVER!!!

The only thing I can be happy about being in NJ is that my Congressman did not vote for it the first time and will not vote for it again.
