This is reason that the US Navy just had to revamp it’s old CIWS.
Hard to knock out a missile that travels as fast as 20mm gunfire.

you must note that this is in the hands of India -- the likelihood of India and the US going to war with each other is about the same as that of Estonia going to war with Mongolia: in fact it's less than that as both the US and India have common values (both republics, both secular and tolerant) and common enemies (the chicoms and slamofascists).
If anything, these missiles may be used to support the US (the US-India friendliness is a Bush legacy, let's never forget that)
