MSNBC's Peter Alexander concludes an interview today with the president of the NAACP by noting, "The president honors this country's colored people." Nilla! Shortly afterwards Alexander apologized, which was even more amusing.
"The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People is celebrating its 100th anniversary, and a short time ago I had a chance to have a conversation with the group's president.."

black is the absence of color. white is all colors combined.
Not if you are mixing pigments on a painters pallet.
My junior high art teacher told us that "white is light and black is the absence of light."
Our school was almost on Abraham Lincoln's front doorstep so I don't think there was anything racial intended.

Because “colored people” is what Democrats call them under Jim Crow. Use of that phrase embarasses black activists for it reminds them that they are still kept shackled on the Democrat plantation.
