Glad Obama got stuck on this one but Gregg looks BAD. No way he didn’t know what he was getting into. I sure hope the GOP replaces him in 2010. Obama may look bad in this one but Gregg looks worse.

I completely disagree! Obama looks like the partisan, jerk tyrant that he is. Gregg looks like someone as disgusted with the non-stimulus massive democrat spending bill and the census power grab as the rest of America.

I sure hope the GOP replaces him in 2010.

If he doesn't run, the seat will go to a Democrat.

Right now, the Republican power structure in NH can't find their ass with both hands.

And that's the way it is.

Not to everyone. I admire him for the courage to do this. How many others would have stuck it out so they wouldn't "look bad". He followed his conscience, good for him!

It's quite likely that That One 'forgot' to mention that he was considering taking the Census duties away from Commerce, before Gregg started considering the position.

Good for him for refusing.
