You mean there is a RINO that couldn't even stomach the one?

Given that Obama pulled a major function of the department out from under him, a sign of distrust or appeasing his base, why should he destroy his own political future to shore up Obama’s?

At least this RINO repented. I still say NH needs to vote out RINOs like this guy, and every other state as well.

Maybe Gregg read my entry at a New Hampshire forum:

Counting all the ones that have been pulled... you’re 12th

Sen. Gregg probably saw the handwriting on the wall, and saw a chance to apply a little leverage at the same time.

The Commerce Department is, or soon will be, stripped of its function of being the agency responsible for the US Census. If the failing nascent obama regime can get its hands on the count of people in 2010, it will shift the demographics in a very serious way, skewing the vote even further than ACORN ever could. They do not intend to do a physical count (they claim that always ends up with an “undercount” of their prized minorities), but apply some formula that guarantees that “every” occupant will be counted.

It would be great if Senators Snowe, Collins and Specter would gain so much clarity of vision.

People in NH were PO’d that he didn’t vote on the pork bill.

I don’t understand how this abomination is moving forward.

My liberal friends are as pissed off as I am about this bill.

I guess the upside is a Dem bloodbath in 2010.

Maybe those with some sense regarding economics are beginning to see the disaster that this "stimulus" will be, and are stepping away rather than be scapegoats or fall guys.

In any case, the way the market and individuals are acting, Zero is losing substantial cover before the final vote. Possibly, in spite of the MSM, Zero and the Rats will own this policy alone.

If nothing else RINOs are mainly about political self preservation.

Taking a Cabinet seat from the senate and/or the opposition party is a total career ender. Examples: William Saxbe, Edmund Muskie, James Schlesinger, David Gergen...

Anybody keeping score? Is that 2 or 3 Commerce Secretary nominees that have hit the road? I heard that Obama is thinking about Willie Nelson or Marc Rich as Commerce Secretary now.
