Do you count the day you were born when you add up your age? I don’t. Darwin would have been 200.
That being said, he’s celebrating in a lake of fire. :)

He didn’t follow the evidence, he followed the Devil. And now they have eternity to spend time together. Wooo Hooo! How’d that work out for him?
:)

Stick your statement up your ass pal. You may be an ape ass, but I am not.

Evo-atheists have no respect for what this country was founded on.

The point is to embrace the theory and the data that supports the theory not the man.
Nothing in the article assailed the data or the theory, it just gives credit where credit is due to subsequent and previous and contemporaneous scientists who contributed to the work.
So once again the things you source do not support your contention. Nothing in that article said that Scientists are abandoning Darwin's theory as you suggested, in fact the authors point was the opposite, that TOO much reverence is given to Darwin as a man by modern scientists, not that they were abandoning his theory.

Theological zealots have no respect for the principles of religious freedom and the natural rights of man that this nation was founded on.

Happy Birthday Chuckles! In Hell. :)
hes celebrating in a lake of fire. :)

If I were shopping for a religion, and I stumbled upon this, I think I'd skip right over whatever denomination of Christianity you subscribe to. Geeze.
To: whattajoke
Yes, having chortles of delight over the prospects of someones eternal damnation is not exactly what I would call a Christian attitude, or one worthy of respect.

/"But when we ask about the way his ideas underpinned the blood-stained policies of Stalin, Mao, Hitler and Pol Pot they change their tune. Richard Dawkins, Darwins famous promoter, put it like this, Im a passionate Darwinian when it comes to science, when it comes to explaining the world, but Im a passionate anti-Darwinian when it comes to morality and politics. They want it both ways."
Maybe because using scientific theories as moral precepts doesn't make sense to begin with? The Naturalistic Fallacy states that just because things are a certain way doesn't mean they should be that way. Anyway the idea of 'survival of the fittest' predates Darwin. The phrase was coined by British Sociologist Herbert Spencer who was much more influential on tyrants like Hitler and Mussolini.

I thought ToGodBeTheGlory was just a silly DU phony trying parody a FReeper anti-science position. (Note his tagline) so I just read some of his stuff over the course of the vast 6 weeks he's been here.
Suffice it to say, Mr. Glory has a serious hardon for eternally damning every person who isn't like him. Goodness he seems to really enjoy the idea of his fellow "non-saved" men burning in hell.
Either he's fake (likely) or certifiable.
Regardless, he's good for a laugh, like this gem:
"Weve been lied to about UFOs from the very beginning. The government knows what is going on.
The *aliens*, though, are not from another planet, but are Demons trying to trick us so we turn away from God. Satan will never rest while there are souls to ensnare."
Awesome.

Or, I’ve wondered if/when a rogue band of Pakistani scientists sell nuclear technology to al Qaeda and they do succeed in making a dirty bomb of some sort, and they (God forbid) do use it and kill people, or at least sicken a city...
What will that say about Einstein?
To: ToGodBeTheGlory
They didn’t say he would have been 200 years old. Nor did they say it was the 200th anniversary of his birthday. They SAID it was his 200th birthday, which is mathematically incorrect. BTW, you only have ONE birthday just as you have only one wedding day. The rest are anniversaries of your birth or wedding.

That’s why the evo-atheists, the theological zealots in question, have to resort to using the brute force of the government to have their failed philosophy pushed on our children. They have no respect for the tights that God bestowed upon us all. And you do their grunt work here.
To: whattajoke
Ands you’d wind up with where Chuck is now by denying the Word of God.
Nice to see you think of your spiritual life as akin to a shopping spree at the mall.

Are yours pink or chartreuse?

I’m not the one spreading the lies of Satan on a conservative website.
You won’t be laughing in eternity without God.

"
One of the most impressive aspects of Darwin's original theory was that it went AGAINST all his "preconceived notions" that he learned growing up and being a seminary student." Vacuous nonsense.
At the time of writing his Origin of the Species, he had completely rejected God's word, and pledged his hostility thereto in his oath to become a member of an elite club of wealthy and powerful men known as the "Ghostly Guild."
This was a select group started by Brook Foss Wescott, and included FJA Hort, Lord Balfour, and Bishop Benson, all of whom had joined in their hostility to God's word, and the deity of Jesus Christ.
History is so inconvenient for evolutionists.

Yeah yeah yeah.
You must be a blast at the church picnics. I’m so glad the church I grew up in didn’t attract nuts like you.
