No. 'Cause panic doesn't accomplish anything. But when we come back from the break, I'm going to tell you how to get the country back. I'm going to tell you how it will happen, and I'm going to suggest what we might do when we get it back, because we will, 'cause these people are going to overreach. They are not going to win every election from here on out unless they end elections, which I wouldn't rule out they're dreaming about doing.

So when we come back from the break I'll tell you how we're going to get our country back, and I'll tell you what we're going to do when we get our country back. I'll give you a little hint. We're going to treat them the same way they have been treating us for years. We are going to subject them to the same things they have subjected us to, and we are going to have a big and strong and powerful government to wield against them because they're in the process of building it. And we're going to win it back one day, and when we win this country back, and this government back, we are going to deploy government against them the way they have been deploying it against us..."

I heard Rush's rant. While I understand his frustration, we CANNOT exact the same revenge and use the same tactics and remain true to who we are--civilized patriots who believe in limited government and God-given rights of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness (i.e., property rights).

True conservatives, if we ever DO return to power in this country, will not use "big gov'mint" to punish liberals. We will be too busy dismantling the entire apparatus. We'll end the IRS and use a 20% VAT instead, dump every unconstitutional federal program, cut corporate taxes to 10% or less, and set the US free market economy on fire again.

Living in Chicago, I think that political corruption should be tantamount to treason, and violating the public trust should be a capital offense.There's your "campaign finance reform".

The scariest thing about all this is that 45% of the voters in the last election paid nothing in income tax. They have no "skin in the game", so they're perfectly willing to vote for spendthrift liberals. Once that number reaches 50% or more the American Dream is over.

So long as we have a "income tax" model, I think only TAXPAYERS should have the right to vote. If you make too little to be taxed but you still want to participate, you should have to pay a $500 poll tax for the privilege.

What a terrible day in American History. After intellectually and pragmatically destroying Marxist socialism by winning the Cold War, we voluntarily hand over our liberty to a fear-mongering social agitator. Ugh...
