This mindset isn't exclusive to Dominoes.
SubWay also have sneaked halal, covertly into their menus here in Britain.
I take great pleasure in seeing the halal logo on the door of SubWay restaurants, and then enter and order a meal before raising the issue of;
"Oh, does this logo on your refrigerator mean you serve halal products?"
When they always answer yes, I reply;
"Sorry, I cannot support a company that promotes the barbaric ritual slaughter of animals", and then I simply walk out of the store.
It always provokes a response from other people in the queue, and many people have walked out with me.

In the US, there are Halal stores already open that are doing great business and are very popular.
I looked at the US Subway site, and there isn't any mention of their halal stores anywhere! So it seems it's at least as much if not more of a 'stealth' operation here as in the UK.
(Welcome to FR by the way :-))
