They made tons of pizza and sold them like gangbusters, all pork free I’m sure.

Do you suppose that if a huge influx of Westerners occurred in that neighborhood, as has happened with muslims in this neighborhood in Birmingham, and the Domino's pizza shop started going out of business as a result of those Westerners not liking the halal meats, and the Domino's decided to exclusively offer pork in their pizzas as opposed to halal in order to please their changing customer base, that this would pass unnoticed among the local muslims?  I doubt that they would even allow such a change to be made and would simply force the company to go out of business.

I’m dead certain there was no pork.

Al Khobar was the Eastern Provence city where many international business people lived, including many Americans. It was however Saudi. They like pizza too.

When the Gulf War came, a close associate traded paper back to troops for Ham MRE’s. There was also ham and pork in the “pork room” a cooler situated in a special room all by itsself in an Aramco commissary for American families. It is likely gone now because the Americans are also gone.
