The continuing legacy of Bush's destruction of the republican majority.

Rush admitted yesterday that Bush was not a conservative. He assured us in the first election he was.

To be fair, a lot of us thought he was conservative in 2000. And in 2004 the only other choice was John Kerry.

Bush was a complete and total disaster. He is ******* scum and nothing more.

In hindsight, (considering the GOP Congress), Al Gore would have been a better choice, only because we would have had gridlock.

“Compassionate conservatism” is socialism lite.

But, but, but he SAVED our butts from attack /sarc ... and, don't you know, Rush also said GWB would achieve a great legacy some day because of it. LOL!

"Mission Accomplished" Bush, just like his "Read My Lips" old man, were boils on the great history of this nation. True, they weren't as bad as cancer sores like Clinton and Carter but they still provided an ugly blimish for freedom-loving libertarians and conservatives.

Do you have a link to either a transcript or video that backs up this claim? All I remember is Rush assuring us that he was more "conservative" than Gore. Hell... Stalin was more conservative than Gore. I have NEVER heard Rush try to assure us that Bush was "a" Conservative.

Feel free to provide the evidence to educate me and prove me wrong.

Thanks.

And Rush is right, but it’s too bad the alternative was even worse. Looking back on it now, though, I kind of wish Algore had won the election. We could still have a GOP majority in the senate and house if he had.......

Face it.

Rush was wrong for the last 8 years.

He also claimed, even more laughably, that Willard Romney was a conservative.
