Europe has been in deep trouble before, and the US came to its rescue, most notably during WWII.

This time, instead of coming to lift it up, the US is joining it in allowing the decline of Western Civilization.

It’s bad form to post an entire commentary, rather than post the first couple of paragraphs or so and provide a link (so that the author can get the benefit of the hits on his site). I doubt this guy took the time to write it so that you could steal the entire work and post it here. It may be hard to believe, but people do try to make something of a living off this stuff.

It would be a mistake to blame this disaster on the Muslim population in and of itself. They are only about 4% of the total population.

The real problem is much larger than that.

The nanny state bureaucracy is enormous and is solidly; indeed, radically; leftist. Multiculturalism is a club with which they beat down all opposition. The multi-culturalists fawn on Muslims because British industry, academia, and media are thoroughly subverted by, and dependent on, Arab oil money in the form of investment capital, grants, gifts, fellowships, speaking fees, career opportunities, and the rest of the vast panoply of bribes that have bought off a large percentage of the world’s intelligentsia. These powerful institutions are therefore reluctant to offer any opposition to the multi-culturalists, since these are aligned with their Muslim benefactors.
This is important to Americans because the same thing is happening here on a smaller scale, at least in relative terms.
I talk to British professors every day. They know they won’t be fired if they oppose well-known Muslim positions, but they also know that all the extra goodies won’t be coming their way either.

What will really happen is that the multi-cultural bureaucrats, many of whom openly admire Trotsky and even Stalin, will go too far in forcing their totalitarian agenda.

I disagree—he seems right on target to me. For reasons beyond my comprehension, the Western World appears to be committing suicide. I, for one, am sick and tired of it, but it appears to be intractable and unchangable though conventional methods (e.g., voting and writing your elected representatives). A big part of the problem is that:

1. Many people are legitimately confused about what is really in their self interest. This is, in no small part, due to the educational system.
2. As the article suggests, people now percieve it is in their best (short term) interest to go along with, even cheer on, this suicidal mania. If you go against the tide, you will be ostracized and ruined.

In short, the Facists are here—they just came from the Left rather than the Right.

Reprinted in 1995 by the Social Contract Press of Petoskey, Michigan. I had the most pleasant 95 mile trip down there, just for an excuse to go. I have my copy. Time Magazine called it "a billious tirade".

One could completely avoid the racial aspect of it and hit where it hurts on the likes of Time. Forget the race business and concentrate on those who "do good". Persons who sit back in their enclaves of protected districts. They smear those who are then put in a serious position and have not got the large bank accounts to buy their way elsewhere.

Raspail gets to the whole end result. As you will have read, the champion of "love and understanding" marching out to meet the hordes. He is in their way, and he is strangled by their huge leader. He is merely a nuisance.

This and other examples hits close to home for those in Britain. This in Europe too. Finally there will be no place to hide. In America it is "white flight". Few dare admit why they moved. In England the top dogs will survive as they always do, but even the upper middle class will see what they have wrought. There is nothing like the mindless arrogance of the so called "minorities" who are kowtowed to by the establishment and who seek to "repay" past inequities.
