Nope, Id use UN troops from other countries. They will have much less connect to this country, its citizens, its laws, traditions and customs. Much easier for them to follow orders on foreigners. And the minute they showed up you would enrage a population. Most people will dread having to fight fellow Americans. But foreign troops on our soil against US citizens? It would be Open Season.

There can't be a revolution.
There's too much on TV and we're too well fed.
Now if fries are in short supply and this analog to digital switch gets messed up then there might be some angry people in the streets.
Aside from that, forget it.

and the federal government is simply too powerful to defeat in a military confrontation. If one assumes our volunteer citizen soldiers would take up arms against citizens.
IMO, the best way for the citizens to cripple the federal government is to quit paying taxes.

This ex-military sniper would love the opportunity to have UN troops here trying to overthrow the Civilian population.
They have no idea the talent that has been trained and waiting for them to try it, here in this country.

It might be paranoid schizo, but I’m afraid, he might be right. Maybe I’m getting paranoid, too.
This socialized medicine is freaking me out. I just don’t know how some of my liberals friends could support this. They think that I am paranoid and that none of the doom gloom is going to happen.

I will if it comes to that. Having been career military I don’t think that the bulk of the military would obey BO Plenty if he order them to put down a civilian rebellion against his regime. This despot has not yet had enough time to completely co-opt the military; most dictators take years to cultivate their loyal military and even then sometimes it does not work to their advantage.
And I agree. If it comes it will be about restoring the constitution.

Yeah, right. It was the democrat south that tried to piss on the constitution last time around just like the democrats are doing today. The democrat party should have been outlawed in 1865 and its leadership hung. The Germans finally got it right after WWII when they outlawed the Nazis. Thanks to the lack of action in 1865 we have to contend with our own Nazis today.

what would the conservative Republicans have if it were not for the South??
or, it may sound better if I asked, numerically, in what part of the country do most conservatives live today?

Looks like the shooter needs to tighten up his zero a bit. Most shooters I know, would have them in the same hole.
But then, you are right about the color blue as being the best color for a long range target.

Maybe not a revolution, but there can be widespread riots in the major cities. Little katrinas all over, and guess what demo groups will be leading them?
Hint, not the white folks.

Whatever the Domestic Security Force does.... will be in accordance with the current law. At first anyway. But will it be in accordance with the Constitution?
Meanwhile Obanut is going to cut the *base* military budget (exclusive of cutting funding for the former War on Terror) by over 10% for FY2010. Yea they are going love him.

The way to get the Marxists thrown out is to make them abject failures. Agreed. This is the most desirable solution; but, it will be difficult with a complicit MSM, as you say. I suspect that the Republicans may be back in power in 4 years after the people learn just how badly dems can screw things up. Here's hoping that the 0 presidency is the biggest disaster in American history since the Civil War.
To: pabianice
Those that think there can be no such uprising, rioting, or general uncontrollable chaos happen in this country because all the sheeple are too sedated to care have quickly forgotten what it was like the day of 9/11. People panicked big time across the nation that day. In the few short hours it took me to get home that morning from work, there were fights in gas lines and and people wildly stripping the grocery stores of food essentials.
And then one all has to remember is how crowds have acted recently when they perceive some injustice has been perpatrated by the law against one of their own. Los Angeles, anyone?
It won't take much to light the spark again. And right now with all the crap going on, alot of people have short fuses just waiting for it to be lit.
