There have been conflicting stories about the TD-2 failure. Something happened about 40 seconds into the flight. The missile then broke up and the first stage flew around on its own for a minute or two.

The North Koreans came very close to launching a satellite in 1998. The third stage was seconds away from burnout when the motor underwent some kind of catastrophic failure.

"the Obama administration intends to continue the Bush administration's policy of pushing North Korea to give up its nuclear weapons through six-nation nuclear talks"

What ever happened to "we favor unconditional talks with dictators"?

Mitchell gets Hamas and Syria.
Holbrook gets Pakistan
Mrs. Bill Clinton gets their expertise, ChiComs and N.KoreaComs

In the meantime, Bernanke and Geithner continue to destroy U.S. economy.

“The North Koreans came very close to launching a satellite in 1998.”

That was a kick in the head for the Clinton administration. Started them along the path that lead Bush to install the limited missile defense in Alaska.

I take comfort that ground zero for a successful N. Korean missile would pretty much be in Nancy Pelosi’s district.

You have to pay for their reconstruction money, though.

Man’s gotta point.

Chia pet does this every change of administration. Sabre rattling (hey chia pet, sabres are what you have). Coast line fishing thing, soon to be a sunken boat, meanwhile they all eat grass and are stunted in growth.

Ho hum (yawning, sign of we do not care).

chia pet: you are a buffoon, and we don’t care what you do.

signed: The world.
