“Obama repeatedly reminded a national television audience that federal spending and deficits soared under George W. Bush’s presidency. “

Yes Jorge’s flaws will come back to haunt us many times during the reign of the Obamanation.

If Bush had said such a thing about not wanting criticism they would be screaming “fascism!”

The Dems scream about massive spending increases under Bush. How much of that was domestic spending to help poor people, the elderly, students, etc?? Had that money not been spent they would have screamed even more about evil mean Republicans and all that garbage. No way Bush could have ever succeeded.

Republicans presided over the huge deficit but nowhere did I see Democrats (except for the war) say we were spending too much. Mostly they were whining about “Draconian cuts”.

"Rebellion to Tyrants is Obedience to God"

Reverse side of the First Committee U.S. Seal proposal.

The first committee consisted of Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, and John Adams.

Franklin chose an allegorical scene from Exodus, described in his notes as "Moses standing on the Shore, and extending his Hand over the Sea, thereby causing the same to overwhelm Pharaoh who is sitting in an open Chariot, a Crown on his Head and a Sword in his Hand. Rays from a Pillar of Fire in the Clouds reaching to Moses, to express that he acts by Command of the Deity." Motto, "Rebellion to Tyrants is Obedience to God."

“It was in 2006, when the democrats manipulation of the banks lending practices to loan to unqualified applicants ( to ensure dems a dependent voter bloc) began to implode when the s*** began to hit the fan.”

That’s correct, DEMOCRAT ARSONISTS caused the fire, and now DEMOCRAT ARSONISTS are throwing gasoline on the fire in the pretext of trying to put it out.

targeted to the wealthiest few Americans,

The sheer number of blatant lies in the speech were just astounding, especially the two regarding no earmarks or pork in an obvious pig.

I am moved to call this guy just what he is, except for the ensuing punishment I would experience.

********”It’s a little hard for me to take criticism from folks about this recovery package after they’ve presided over a doubling of the national debt,” Obama said. “I’m not sure they have a lot of credibility when it comes to fiscal responsibility.” *********

It’s a little hard for me to listen to this lop-eared Commie talk about Bush doubling the national debt, when he voted for a 750 billion dollar bailout before becoming President and his first act as President is to ask for a trillion dollars more.

Is he so stupid he doesnt understand the hypocrisy here??
Obviously he is.

Asking for trillion Dollars and then asking the military to cut their budget by 10% while we are still at war.
WTH is wrong with this picture.?

"It's a little hard for me to take criticism from folks about this recovery package after they've presided over a doubling of the national debt," Obama said. "I'm not sure they have a lot of credibility when it comes to fiscal responsibility."

So he wants to double down on the double.

"What I won't do," he said at another point, "is return to the failed theories of the last eight years that got us into this fix in the first place."

But it was the dims that caused the problems - bawney fwank and dodd on fannie mae and freddie mac. Sounds like he is not returning - he never left them.
