Henderson and Reinhardt's names have been published, over and over, as the whackiest of judges out there:
The panel consists of U.S. District Judges Thelton Henderson of San Francisco and Lawrence Karlton of Sacramento and Judge Stephen Reinhardt of the Ninth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals. When its ruling becomes final, the state can appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court.
I’m not familiar with Henderson, but Mr. Ripston is well known to me.
In his youth Thelton Henderson was the mentor to the California Black Panthers. He has never forgotten his roots.
