It was flying above 12,000 feet when just after 8 p.m., the pilot reported seeing what was described as a missile.
In interviews following the event by FAA officials, the captain and first officer described the object as being approximately five to seven feet in length, solid white in color, with “delta fins” on the tail.
Experts say from this description, the device is probably a civilian-type rocket, rather than a military missile. However, further investigation is continuing.

Dunno about the motive, but the circumstantial evidence, the bomb threats, the devastating breakup, all point to a bomb.

A student set off several crude homemade chemical bombs at San Ysidro High School this afternoon, prompting evacuations at the campus but causing no injuries or property damage, authorities said.
The youth who planted the makeshift explosive devices — plastic bottles containing some type of volatile substance — was under arrest within an hour of the small explosions, which occurred about 3:30 p.m., according to San Diego police.

AF 447 — French weather experts said there was no evidence that the plane, carrying 228 people, hit an “exceptional” storm.
I still wonder about the bomb threat a few days earlier against AF.
France24: Investigators said the AF 447 sent 24 messages in less than five minutes before it disappeared. A bomb cannot be ruled out.
Been surfing around looking for information on AF447, and there just ain’t anything but WAG, CYA and handwaving.
Anybody faintly professional working for Airbus must be souls in Purgatory right now, but all I’ve seen from that organization is press flacks doing grand imitations of The Little Man Who Wasn’t There or dishing out BS.
JMHO, the whole deal has gone directly from Air Disaster to Absolutely Reeks, and the media’s neck deep in it.

In an effort to keep American Muslims under the total control of Islam, the Saudi Arabians have spent billions of dollars building mosques and Islamic schools so that Muslim children can be instructed in the strict laws of Islam.
For decades, no one paid much attention to what was being taught in those Saudi-funded schools. Perhaps two generations of American Muslims were taught that Muslims are to be loyal to no country, only Islam.
These children were taught that Christians and Jews were the enemy. They were taught that only Islam will dictate how they will live their lives. American children were being brainwashed right under our collective noses.

CHICAGO — In a bid to get more Muslim Americans working in the Obama administration, a book with resumes of 45 of the nation’s most qualified — Ivy League grads, Fortune 500 executives and public servants, all carefully vetted — has been submitted to the White House.
The effort, driven by community leaders and others, including U.S. Rep. Keith Ellison, D-Minn., was bumped up two weeks because White House officials heard about the venture, said J. Saleh Williams, program coordinator for the Congressional Muslim Staffers Association, who sifted through more than 300 names.
“It was mostly under the radar,” Williams said. “We thought it would put (the president) in a precarious position. We didn’t know how closely he wanted to appear to be working with the Muslim American community.”

WASHINGTON – Barack Obama is conducting his own affirmative action program to get more Muslims in the White House.
The move began with Rep. Keith Ellison, D-Minn, who took his oath of office with a hand on the Quran, to solicit the resume of what he considered to be the nation’s most qualified adherents of Islam.
According to the Denver Post, when White House officials heard about the program, it was put on overdrive.

Ellison is serious about his faith. He made the pilgrimage to Mecca with the sponsorship of the Muslim American Society, an offshoot of the Muslim Brotherhood.
In 1991, Mohamed Akram wrote a memo for the leadership of the Muslim Brotherhood that explained its work in America as “a kind of grand jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and ‘sabotaging’ its miserable house by their hands and the hands of the believers so that it is eliminated and God’s religion is made victorious over all other religions.”

It was not until these final goods were delivered that the Pasha of Tripoli recognized the Treaty as official.
Morrocco was also the first to break the treaty when the Pasha demanded more than the negotiated retribution, starting the second Barbary War.
The Koran that Jefferson kept was read by him to better understand and FIGHT the Barbary Pirates and was in no way because he respected them. He learned their hateful “religion” to fight them...and WIN!
In short, Obama’s rendering of history was distorted to present a tranquil and mutually respectful situation which never existed in reality, and his statement about Jefferson’s K book is very carefully parsed to make it seem as if Jefferson just loved the b@st@rds.

It was not without meaning for Obama to cite Article 11 of the Treaty of Tripoli. It declares that the US was not built on Christian foundations specifically so that muslim pirates could not use their war against Christianity as an excuse to attack American ships.
The separation of church and state crowd has used this “article” repeatedly to have any remnant of Christianity and Judaism removed from public property. (Judaism because it is the root of Christianity.) There have been NO similar requirements of islam.
I urge you to pay attention to what the above chapter 33 in the Koran actually says, because Obama knows it well.
It means that the hour is quickly approaching wherein non-believers shall be defeated and dominated by “believers” in the countries and cities where they live. This has always been Allah’s way, and nothing has changed. Those who do not submit will be murdered in horrible ways. (Some translations refer to it as slaughter.)
Cities and countrysides will burn and there will be nowhere to run and nowhere to hide. Starting forest fires and brush fires is as much a part of the islamic warfare manual, as is blowing up buildings and people.
Anyone who didn’t convert by choice initially tries to convert after being captured, their punishment will be worse than anything imaginable.
In 33:69, Musa is Moses. In other words, Obama is the Moses of our time, and anyone who speaks ill of him is a liar, so do not speak ill of the ONE.
We have already seen that play out on a small scale. It will get worse.
Anyone who does not raccept the offer to convert and submit to islam is unjust and ignorant, worthy of great punishment.
It is the way of islam to make the offer to convert three times. Obama has given two major speeches in islamic countries while declaring The US an islamic country. The next speech will be here, (since we have been declared by the president to be an islamic country,) on American soil.
It is islamic tradition to enslave and marry captured women. The men can die. The women will be forced into islam.
This is a very real vision the muslims have. We think it cannot happen here, but it doesn’t matter what we think. THEY believe it and will do whatever it takes to make it happen. The proverbial barbarians are already inside the gates.

It is a misnomer, a gratuituous pander, started by Bill Clinton, that Morocco was the first country to recognize the United States in 1777.
The Kingdom of Morocco only recognized AMERICA insofar as American shipping vessels were concerned. The King, Mohammad III, a unique ruler for his time, was more interested in trade than piracy so he put American ships under his protection in his waters. There was no document, just a verbal declaration of protection putting the pirates on notice.
There was no formal recognition of the United States of America by Morocco until 1786.
On february the 26th of 1782, the Frisian parliament took the decision to instruct their representatives in the Hague to take measures to promote the admission of John Adams as ambassador of the USA, in which they were strongly supported by their citizens. So the Frisians were the first to recognize the independence of the United States of America. On the 19th of April 1782 the Frisian example was followed by the general parliament in The Hague.
Slight correction for Article 11 Christian *foundations. What they said was “...in no way founded on the Christian religion.” They used RELIGION instead of principles or foundations. Technically, the US government is not a Religious Christian Government. A Christian GOVERNMENT would be unconstitutional.
Like the 2nd Amendment, liberals and atheists have twisted the meaning of this article for their own ends, and now Obama has used it for his.
Two passengers on board the doomed flight had names that appeared on a classified list of radical Muslims

The names of two passengers on the doomed Air France flight AF447 which crashed into the Atlantic last week appeared on classified French documents listing radical Muslims considered to be a threat, raising the spectre that terrorists may have been involved in the disaster that killed 228 people.
The discovery was made by a team from the Direction Generale de la Securite Exterieure (DGSE) - the French equivalent of MI6 - sent to South America to go through the list of those who boarded the Airbus 330 in Rio de Janeiro on Sunday, May 31.
Agents are trying to establish dates of birth and family connections of the two passengers to see if they are the same people listed in the documents. A security service source told the French media that while there was a possibility the name similarities were a “macabre coincidence”,
they were being “taken very seriously”.
Despite the finding, Air France maintains that “all the indications” are that the Airbus suffered some kind of catastrophic equipment failure. Investigators are focusing on the plane’s airspeed sensors which were giving faulty readings, according to automatic data alerts sent by the plane during its final minutes in the air.
A total of 41 bodies have so far been recovered from the crash zone 700 miles off Brazil’s north-east coast. The plane’s tail fin has also been recovered - an important discovery as it could narrow the underwater search for the ‘black box’ flight recorders. A French nuclear submarine and a naval vessel containing robot submarines are expected to reach the crash site this week and begin searching the ocean bed for the two recorders.
Meanwhile, a memorial service is to be held at Trinity College, Dublin for the three Irish doctors killed in the crash. Eithne Walls, 28, from Ballygowan, County Down, died along with her friends Aisling Butler, from Roscrea, County Tipperary, and Jane Deasy from Dublin.
