Scores of Babies Dead from Tainted Teething Mixture
(Lagos, Nigeria) In an ongoing scandal, 84 infants have died and more than 100 have been sickened from swallowing a teething syrup tainted with diethylene glycol. My Pikin Baby Teething Mixture was first introduced in November 2008.
Fortunately, the source of the poisonous ingredient has been identified.
“The deadly agent entered the production process of My Pikin Baby Teething mixture when an official with the Lagos-based maker procured the tainted ingredient from an unregistered chemical dealer in a sprawling slum near the city’s main dump.”

Germany is investigating 150 tons of steel items imported from India which were contaminated with radioactivity, a leading newsmagazine said in a report to appear in its Monday issue. It said the most serious case was five tons of stainless steel wool which had to be disposed of by a nuclear-waste company, GNS. The contamination was thought to be the result of the radioactive isotope cobalt 60, which is used in nuclear medicine, being inadvertently mixed with steel scrap and being melted down at three Indian steel works. Anyone near the container of steel wool, which had been intercepted in August last year in the German port of Hamburg, would have received one millisievert of radiation in 24 hours.....

SEOUL, South Korea (AP) - North Korea suggested Monday it is preparing a rocket launch, claiming the country has the right to “space development”—a term Pyongyang has used in the past to disguise a long-range missile test as a satellite launch.

On Thursday Sept 15, 2008 at roughly 11 AM The Federal Reserve noticed a tremendous draw down of money market accounts in the USA to the tune of $550 Billion dollars in a matter of an hour or two. Money was being removed electronically.
The treasury tried to help with $105 Billion. But could not stem the tide. It was an electronic run on the banks.
The treasury intervened but had they not closed down the accounts they estimated that by 2 PM that afternoon (Within 3 hours) $5.5 Trillion would have been withdrawn from the US money market and would have collapsed the U.S. economy and within 24 hours the world economy.
It would have been the end of our political and economic system as we know it.
