Mexican drug violence spills over into the US

Just as government officials had feared, the drug violence raging in Mexico is spilling over into the United States.

U.S. authorities are reporting a spike in killings, kidnappings and home invasions connected to Mexico's murderous cartels. And to some policymakers' surprise, much of the violence is happening not in towns along the border, where it was assumed the bloodshed would spread, but a considerable distance away, in places such as Phoenix and Atlanta.

Investigators fear the violence could erupt elsewhere around the country because the Mexican cartels are believed to have set up drug-dealing operations all over the U.S., in such far-flung places as Anchorage, Alaska; Boston; and Sioux Falls, S.D.

This violence stems from the fact that drugs are illegal, therefore you cannot report property crimes involving them. Thus by abdicating its basic responsibility of enforcement of equal rule of law and respect of private property, government has basically given a license for immoral violations of these contracts without fear of repercussion.

In other words, end the failed war on drugs.

But in order to feed the Luxury and Intemperance of the
Males, and the Vanity of the Females, we sent away the
greatest Part of our necessary Things to other Countries,
from whence in return we brought the Materials of
Diseases, Folly, and Vice, to spend among ourselves.

I love the sentence near the end of the article saying the US is supplying most of the weapons to the cartels. That may be true but the author makes it sound like we are encouraging the cartels. That is BS. It is simple supply and demand, they demand and we have the supply.

This may be another topic Zero can’t address, like frozen Kentucky and Australian fire help.

That is one of the ace cards the Dems will play when they make their move on guns “when the time is right”, per Pelosi. Our hideous freedom to buy guns and ammo is supplying the Mexican drug cartels! We must act strongly to remedy this international shame! We must protect our neighbor who sends us chicken pluckers and landscapers! Stroke of the pen, law of the land. Kinda cool?

Mexico is a prime example of “When guns are outlawed, only outlaws will have guns”.

The gift of prohibition just keeps on giving.

Legalization is all out economic warfare against these scum. It's also the last and only weapon available for us.

I fear this is simply the beginning, and the feds are doing little to stop it. It’s coming to a neighborhood near you, so be ready.

Mexico is a prime example of, "when authorities are outlawed, only outlaws will have authority,"

But you can still get a damn good tamale or torta as long as you don't question authority.
