More than 300 demonstrators gathered at Riverside City Hall Saturday and prepared to march across part of the city to protest recent Border Patrol and police crackdowns in the Casa Blanca area.
The demonstrators were also upset about supposed arrest quotas given to Riverside-area Border Patrol officers by their superiors, said Omar Leon of the National Day Laborer Organizing Network.
"We are here to denounce the joint actions of the Border Patrol and the Riverside Police Department," Leon said, raising his voice to make himself heard over a din of chants.

Gotta love the way they claim the constitution as their own. Now if they would demand that our government do it’s constitutionally mandated duty to protect our borders we’d be all set.

I have a old friend at UC Riverside. Coincidentally I just got an email from him yesterday. He must be about the last conservative left standing in his department.
His email concerned the statistics on what illegal immigrants are currently costing California.
Well, so much for the “We need to bring them out of the shadows!” mantra that the pro-illegal immigration folks recite as they try to rationalize giving amnesty to illegal aliens.
A few years back mail delivery to the Casa Blanca area was stopped for a few days and had police escorts for several weeks.
So when did you put this together, I am about 20 min away from there.
I love the minuteman flag. Is that the official flag of the movement? If so, where could I get one?

Dream on, it is a done deal. The Republicans are doomed to be the minority party, until/unless there is a revolution. We can give a large portion of the credit to GW, for his undying devotion to open borders.
