Richardson is working on same day “voter” registration in New Mexico. I live right next door in Arizona. If Kilmer runs, I may hop over there and vote for him a few times. He was great as Doc Holliday.

( Elections have consequences.)
Thanks Jess Venture and Al Franken. Now every washed up celeb sees running for office as a free publicity package with benefits.

In a different, but related article from earlier today:
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/2179597"......he most eyebrow-raising part of the article comes further down, where it looks as if Kilmer is claiming to have the backing of Richardson."
"..............I understand it more. Its an actors job. A guy whos lived through the horror of Vietnam has not spent his life preparing his mind for it. Hes some punk. Most guys were borderline criminal or poor, and thats why they got sent to Vietnam. It was all the poor, wretched kids who got beat up by their dads, guys who didnt get on the football team, couldnt finagle a scholarship. They didnt have the emotional equipment to handle that experience. But this is what an actor trains to do. I can more effectively represent that kid in Vietnam than a guy who was there."

Now let's be fair and give him a chance. Despite being a Democrat I have heard he wants to bring all sides to the buffet table...

I thought Val was pretty good playing Jim Morrison of The Doors.
He might not want his opponent to play scenes from that movie. Morrison was an incredible doper who drank himself at age 35 or thereabouts.
