I have got to find and bookmark that study posted here at FR that showed that social conservatives mostly showed up and voted for McCain, it was fiscal conservatives who stayed home (I suppose his support for the first Great American Taxpayers Heist did him in with them).

I always vote for the putrid Republican candidate and still have to read these rants about us not supporting enough of them. Keep in mind we have to vote in three Rino’s to get one conservative. That's a lot of Rino’s we'd have to elect.

I was talking with a sane liberal last night. There are a few of them, very rare individuals. He told me, “We usually win whether we are in power or not, just some of the time we get to blame you guys and run against our own malfeasance in office. Next time we can't. The media will help us avoid a bloodbath, but you Republicans are already on the march.”
