A top officer slammed Obama's decision to seek the withdrawal of charges against the 2000 suspected U.S.S. Cole ship bomber.

The commanding officer of the U.S.S. Cole during the 2000 attack slammed President Barack Obama Friday for his decision to seek the withdrawal of charges against the suspected ship bomber and the president’s order to close the Guantanamo Bay prison.

“Personally, I am very disappointed he has gone forward with this,” said retired Cmdr. Kirk S. Lippold on MSNBC’s Morning Joe show. “But more important is the impact that has on the families who have waited for eight years for justice to have to wait another 120 days.”

Lippold’s comments were a glimpse of what Obama will hear at a Friday meeting with families of victims of the Cole bombing and 9/11 attacks. Lippold said he will be in attendance.

I hope when Zer0 sits down and tries to wow these family members with his charisma, they rip him a new one.

Zero doesn't care about the Military. He never has. He just pretended to care to assure his election. I have told many friends and relatives that their vote for 0bama was a vote to sell out my son and I will never forgive them for it.

This is typical lefty distain for those that protect and defend us everyday.

Obama orders our sons and daughters to die in the grinder of tora bora and then drops the charges against the very enemy that is killing our bravest.

This is treason on the highest level he is doing more damage then our enemies ever could.

The military should refuse to fight for him.

I hope some shoes are slung at him and it is caught on camera. What a potent message that would be....

But wait a minute Its possible the shoe thrower would wind up with harsher punishment then the terrorists of course exceptions would be made to torture anyone that goes against the god king.

This is payback to the Clintons, probably at the direction of Rahm Emanuel. They do not want the Cole case adjudicated, because it will show the culpability of the Clintons in allowing it to happen.

It comes down to this, folks.... Obama (like Clinton) loathes the Military. They both believe that the only honorable way to serve your country is being a government hack; social worker, pencil-pusher, community organizer. If you went into the military, you deserve whatever happens to you, and your loss is no great loss.

Any and all decent people; Americans; or 'world citizens' should be upset; more there should be unequivical outrage over Obama's decision-making.

Surely a 'roar' is on it's way. . .

It is simply amazing that the Cole did not sink with such a huge hole ripped into her below the waterline.

Yeah, I want HIM PERSONALLY to answer to this,

not that incompetent Gibbs (though it’s fun to see HIM sweat as well, trying to explain the boy king’s policies).

A vote for 0bama was a vote for the detriment of my family. That’s what I tell anyone who expresses that they voted for him.

I believe the Catholic Bishop Newman put it best -
“a vote for 0bama constitutes material cooperation with intrinsic evil”
