ROFL! Such outrage from ABC ..........
~~~~
Various "Good Morning America" anchors and guests on Monday gushed at the sheer brilliance of Barack Obama's incoming cabinet, including his "team of economic gladiators."
Former top Bill Clinton aide-turned journalist George Stephanopoulos rhapsodized, "We have not seen this kind of combination of star power and brain power and political muscle this early in a cabinet in our lifetimes."
If Step was just doing his job, may we then assume that he at least attempted daily contact with President Bush's Chief as well? Does ABC assume that all national level syndicated reporters likewise enjoy daily briefings with the present Chief-Of-Staff?
Don't think so.
If the news departments of corporations are actively supporting a political candidate, then they are making a political contribution. Corporate political contributions are illegal under Federal campaign laws. The corporations and those involved should be prosecuted.
By whom, I don't know. The law is not being enforced in Washington DC except as against political opponents (read: Republicans).
Time to secede from the Union.
*snort* I could just imagine ABC’s comments if the Chief of Staff to the next Republican President called Rush Limbaugh several times a week. I’m sure they’d be very understanding about it, right?
George Stephanopoulos rhapsodized, "We have not seen this kind of combination of star power and brain power and political muscle this early in a cabinet in our lifetimes."Geez. Get me a shovel.
They are all the smartest people in America (as Democrats always claim they are) and yet they can't pay somebody to figure out their taxes nor can they do them on their own. So, Stephanopoulos, they are either criminal or stupid. Which is it?
***You have said, “if the charges are false, provide the evidence. We will gladly accept it and consider the matter closed.” From the moment you issued your first press release on the Politico story last week - and numerous times since - we have made it clear to you and your staff that your assertions regarding Mr. Stephanopoulos and ABC News are false and based on a willful and knowing distortion of John Harris’ original story.***
“Made it clear” is not providing evidence, it's just more of the same enemy propaganda.
"Today, ABC responded to Bozell and other critics, although they say there have been several prior on-the-record responses ignored by Media Research Center. "To be crystal clear, George Stephanopoulos does not advise Rahm Emanuel nor anyone else in the Obama Administration," They just "compare notes" as fellow liberal buddies, Renaissance weekend grads, and Big government enthusiasts, right? Does he also lie to his diary?
This response from ABC is a complete LIE!!!! ABC and George Stephanopolous DO NOT report agressively for both Democrats and Republicans- as a strategy, they report primarily or only on Democrats (and as propaganda).
Thus, simply turn off ABC News!
“To be crystal clear, George Stephanopoulos does not advise Rahm Emanuel nor anyone else in the Obama Administration. He reports on the Obama Administration.”
Yeah..we know. Rahm advises Georgie Boy on what to report and how to report it. Georgie reports TO the Obama Administration!
"With each passing day, ABC's failure to speak to and about this issue tarnishes further the network's reputation as a legitimate news entity," he writes. It's extremely difficult to clean the tarnish off of a rotten apple.
